Disney’s Newsies JR. high-energy musical based on the 1992 film and 2012 Broadway show, set in 1899 New York City. It follows charismatic newsboy Jack Kelly, who rallies fellow young newspaper sellers (newsies) to strike against unfair price hikes by powerful publishers Pulitzer and Hearst. The show highlights friendship, courage, and standing up for what is right.
